Follow the Mice

I am officially a Pied Piper! Auditions were yesterday and I rocked them. It should be fun. All the really cool talented people made it. I am going to granny and Poppie's this weekend. Campus is going to be dead. Only those weird ohioans and Floridians are staying back. And I sure don't want to hang out with them. Just kidding. All my friends are from Ohio or Florida. SGA speeches are Tuesday after chapel. I hope I get it. Thursday is mixer. Seeing the fasad all the social clubs want us to see should be fun.

Keep on Keepin' On

Classes continue to go well. Moving was a bust. I am still going to change to Hall-Roland 1st floor, but I have to wait till tomorrow (Sunday). It is a long story, but it involves two Texas relatives and six-times the human amount of stuff. The Diamond Jaxx game got rained out, but it was still really fun. It was a very good time to get to know people better. Carnival was this afternoon. UPC puts it on. Don't ask me what they actually do, I couldn't tell you. My roommate is so getting hooked up. It is so cute. They are made for each other. It will probably only last till homecoming, but oh well. It will be fun.

Classes

Today was the first day of classes. It consisted of Bible Basis of Missions, Acts of the Apostles, and Elementary Spanish. Bible Basis of Missions is going to be good. Dr. Welch is a little quiet, but I have a seat up front, so that shouldn't be an issue. Acts, I can already tell is going to be AMAZING! Dr. Edwards, who used to be at Harding, is fantastic. He has traced the steps Luke takes through Acts, and he walks you through ancient Greece and the middle east. I was entranced by him. Spanish is going to take effort, but it will be amazing. Profe Vaughn is a new teacher, but he isn't inexperienced. I am the only freshman in Spanish. That might be my only difficulty. I excel when surrounded by older students, so I should only be uncomfortable for about a week. Over all, I am excited. Tomorrow I will have university foundations, speech, business computers, and Spanish again (it is every day).

Fun again

Freed has become fun!! Today was church at Henderson Church of Christ then 7 hours of games at midsouth youth camp. It was dirty, sticky, buggy, and muddy, but so much fun. I am really starting to settle in and meet people.

Rolling with the Heedies

Today was my first day in Henderson. I must say that rolling with the Heedies is quite exhausting. I am enjoying it though.
It is very odd living with someone I am not related to. Preferences and schedules are kind of crazy. I still feel like I am tip-towing around.
I have hope that the situation will get better as time progresses. It is, after all, the first day.
any advice from experienced human beings would help greatly.
