Susan Henderson: English Teacher...?

I am having a go at teaching English this summer, but what if that is what I did for years... In Asia? China Now is a program that places Christians in Chinese universities to teach English, and hopefully, the gospel. They are also placing college graduates in south Korea and any other developing country. Most positions come with a comfortable salary, furnished housing, and a travel budget. It is a pretty sweet deal. No one gets placed alone. Generally speaking, there are 4 other teachers within an hour of you, and one within half an hour. There are house churches in most of the cities already. Asia is ready. A captive audience awaits.

Thoughts?

No joke, I'd miss you like crazy, but I think you would be great at something like that. Can't wait to see you.

I'm imagining people in asia learning English with your cute-little cracker accent and southern idioms. It makes me smile.

oh dear. you can't teach them "ya'll." A girl I met here did this for four years and truly enjoyed it. How are you with learning languages? Cause, y'know, you have to learn chinese.
